Fokker F28

 

The Fokker 28 was developed in the 1970s as a short haul, high frequency airliner capable of landing and taking off on the short runways. The aircraft typically seats 70 passengers and can be configured in both business and economy or full economy or even full business class for specialised tours and VIP transfers.

 

The aircraft is pressurised and has a maximum range of 1000nm (1850km) or 1500nm (2700km) in long range versions and a maximum cruise speed of 808 km/h with a maximum cruise ceiling of 31,000 ft.

 

The aircraft boasts integral air stairs, Auxiliary Power Unit and carefully positioned servicing points which allow faster turn around time and do not hinder passenger movements.
