The quote includes the following:
1. Aircraft with fuel, maintenance and insurance.
2. Crew (including crew allowances, to be understood as allowance for Lunch and Dinner in locations where available. If not available, crew to be booked on Full Board basis at client expense).
3. Airport fees (TASP temporary air service permits, Navigation and Approach fees, Landing and parking fees, passenger and baggage handling).
4. Demurrage and Government fuel surcharge if applicable.
5. South African Revenue Services (SARS) passenger levy.
6. Passenger taxes.
7. Catering in the form of Snacks and Drinks.
The quote excludes the following:
1. Any costs incurred by the client that are not included in the quote.
2. Costs that may arise due to adverse weather conditions or force majeure.
3. Increases in the prices of: fuel and oil, airport related fees, sector related costs, passenger taxes and levies, etc which may occur subsequent to this quote.
4. Crew Accommodation. Crew to have same accommodation as passengers, within reason. Bed and Breakfast basis, minimum 3 Star. Single rooms required.
5. Crew transport to and from crew accommodation and airport and vice-versa, this to be arranged by client.
6. After Hours Expenses (if Applicable)
7. Any cost which may be incurred as a result of having to divert to an alternate aerodrome due to weather, airport closure or for any other reason, especially Safety related
The quote is subject to
1. Terms and Conditions herewith.
2. Permissions and clearances as may be required.
3. Crew and aircraft availability and en-route fuel availability. Should fuel not be available at a specific airport then the costs of bringing in/obtaining fuel are for client account.
4. The airfield(s) proposed are licensed and have suitable fire fighting and other Civil Aviation Authority requirements in place.
5. The approval of the Skyclass Insurance Underwriters that the routes and airfields proposed are acceptable.
6. The Quotation and this Terms and Conditions document being signed by the client and returned to Skyclass. Only then will confirmation of the quote be in place.

LUGGAGE/CARGO:
Luggage capacity on aircraft is limited so luggage must be carried in a soft bag, one per passenger, which can be moulded and stored in small areas.
Weight is restricted to 10 kilograms (22 pounds) per passenger on the DC-3 and 20 kilograms (44 pounds) per passenger on the DC-4. The client will be responsible for the forwarding of excess/oversize baggage to the next destination.
Luggage of 20 kilograms (44 pounds) may be permitted on bigger aircraft types.
Golfing equipment may only be taken on board if it is in a soft pencil type golf bag and does not exceed 10 kilograms (22 pounds) in weight. For golfing trips using the DC-3 the size of the luggage soft bag may not exceed the following dimensions: Length 600mm Width 260mm Height 330mm.
All baggage must have identification tags inside and outside. We cannot be held liable for loss or damage to baggage or its contents. It is recommended that luggage be wrapped in shrink-wrap.
No guarantee will be given as to the Maximum Weight that may be carried on any aircraft. This is due to the fact that there are factors which determine the Maximum Take-off Weight on any given day.
These factors are limited by the:-
1. WAT limit. (Weight Altitude and Temperature - or Climb Limit). This will result in a decrease in performance with an increase in temperature.
2. The Structural Limit, and the
3. Runway Limit.
This is referred to as the RTOW (Regulated Take-off Weight). The payload is predicated by subtracting the sum of the empty aircraft plus the minimum fuel, from the RTOW.
The DC-3 can take up to a maximum of 2.7 tonnes.
The DC-4 can take up to a maximum of 7.5 tonnes.
In the event of any flight being undertaken which involves the carriage of Cargo and or equipment over and above the specified baggage allowance, details of such items must be discussed with Skyclass to ensure such items may be carried on the flight. This will prevent problems at departure time.
For regulatory, insurance and safety reasons the above rules will be strictly adhered to.
1) Any specific catering requirements must be submitted one week prior to departure. If no instructions are received catering in the form of snacks and refreshments will be provided at the discretion of Skyclass.
2) Cost of quote may increase due to specific or specialised catering requirements, e.g. Halaal, Kosher, VIP, additional bar.
1. A non-refundable deposit of 10% is required upon confirmation of this charter. The balance is due twenty-one (21) working days prior to date of departure. If the outstanding amount is not received by the due date twenty-one, 21, working days prior to date of departure this agreement is automatically terminated, although Skyclass reserves the right to claim any damages suffered as a result.
2. A) The full due amount of this charter will not be reduced and will remain payable if cancelled or amended by the client within 48 hours of departure;
B) Any variations to this quote must be agreed to in writing by both parties.
3. Overdue monies will bear interest at the South African Prime Lending Rate +2%.
4. Skyclass may cancel this agreement if the reserved aircraft or crew become unavailable for reasons beyond its control although every effort will be made by Skyclass to ensure that this contract is fulfilled.
5. Skyclass shall not be held liable for any delays or costs which may arise due to unfavourable weather conditions, aircraft un-serviceability, or other reasons beyond its control. In the unlikely event of a booked and confirmed Aircraft becoming un-serviceable and is unsafe to carry out the flight, Skyclass shall attempt to source a replacement.
6. Skyclass will maintain ‘airline hull all risks’ and ‘third party liability insurance’ during the term of this agreement.

N.B. This quote is based on a payload / range study, using the latest available information regarding airfields and availability of Avgas. Every effort will be made to adhere to the quote. However it should be understood that the non-availability of Avgas, landing permission or suitable infrastructure as required by the South African Civil Aviation Authority, will result in an alteration to the route and the quote will be subject to re-negotiation without prejudice.
